Aeronautics and Astronautics

Gifts to be used at the discretion of the department, including support for our undergraduate program and faculty hiring in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department.

Gifts to provide support to the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics for the renovation and operation of the Wind Tunnel Facility, including but not limited to, operating costs, maintenance expenses, equipment, capital expenditures and program costs pertaining to the Wind Tunnel Facility.

Gifts to endow graduate fellowships.

Gifts to establish an endowed fund, with the income to provide graduate student financial support in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Preference will be given to students from backgrounds that are underrepresented at MIT, with an additional preference for female students.

Gifts to endow graduate fellowships.

Gifts from alumni/ae and friends to support the undergraduate student learning environment in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics to be used at the discretion of the Department Head. The funds may be used for, but are not limited to, support of undergraduate student projects, improvements to the undergraduate teaching labs including upgrades of computers, other equipment, and furnishings, support of innovative educational and research projects that provide undergraduate learning and research opportunities, including faculty support, and/or improvements to the overall quality of the undergraduate experience in Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Gifts to endow a graduate fellowship in honor of former Aeronautics and Astronautics Department Head Jack Kerrebrock and his late wife, Vickie.
