Gifts to support Professor Abelson's App Inventor project. App Inventor is a blocks-based programming tool that allows everyone, even novices, to start programming and build fully functional apps for Android devices. The work of the App Inventor project is focused on sustaining and enhancing the tool, building enterprise enhancements, building capacity, promoting computer science education, and conducting and supporting community research.

Gifts of members of the Class of 1992 to establish an endowed fund to support the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program with a preference for students working in the area of K-12 education.

The Lincoln Laboratory Director's Fund for STEM Education is an expendable fund which supports the Lincoln Laboratory STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Education Program. STEM is a year-round academic enrichment program including mentoring and a summr institute for high-school students from Boston, Cambridge, and Lawrence.
