Thank you to all of the volunteers and donors who made the fall Underclassmen Giving Campaign a huge success this semester! In just one week, 971 students, or 29% of the underclassmen student body, donated $4,337.41 to fund Public Service Center’s Expedition Grants! When you factor in the match from MIT alum Joe Levitch ’69, that’s $8,674.82 in Expedition Grant funding this year for MIT students and the PSC!
Donors also made a huge impact through votes for the Expedition Grant recipients. The candidates that received the most votes this fall were Keeley Erhardt ’17 and Yooni Kim ’15! Thanks to student voting and support, Keeley and Yooni will embark on some really cool public service projects during IAP. Learn more about their projects here.
The UGC will start up again in April, if you want to volunteer or learn more about the UGC send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
