Plan for your future and MIT's with a planned gift.
News and upcoming events
On November 17, 2021, the MIT Office of Gift Planning hosted the fall installment of their Corridor webinar event series with a presentation titled MITIMCo, Washington, and Philanthropy: What’s on the Horizon. Marianthe Mewkill, chief financial officer of the MIT Investment Management Company, and Brad Bedingfield, tax and estate-planning attorney from Hemenway & Barnes LLP, discussed potential changes to US tax laws and their impact on charitable giving, and the health of the MIT endowment. A lively Q&A featuring submitted questions from the audience followed their presentations. The Office of Gift Planning will continue this widely popular webinar event series in 2022, so stay connected with Corridor to be invited to a future event.

“Because of my MIT education, I have never felt that I have been faced with a problem that was insurmountable. I consider it an obligation to make sure the door remains open for others, and a planned gift is one way to do that.”
