The Confronting Obstacles & Realizing Excellence (CORE) Program is for 9th and 10th grade high school students who have an interest in science and engineering, but have some mathematical limitations. This two-week summer program focuses on increasing the quantitative reasoning skills of two cohorts of 10-15 local youth.

Engineering Experience at MIT (E2@MIT) is a one-week residential summer program that provides 70 to 80 rising high school seniors from across the country with a hands-on engineering course and other academic experiences to help them build the skills and confidence necessary for success in science and engineering fields.

MIT Online Science, Technology and Engineering Community (2744908)
MIT Online Science, Technology and Engineering Community (MOSTEC) is a six-month online program and short conference that serves 100 to 120 rising high school seniors from across the country. MOSTEC provides students with online coursework and projects during a summer Academic Phase and opportunities to learn more about science and engineering, interact with college faculty and staff, and receive mentorship from students and industry professionals during a fall Enrichment Phase.

The Minority Introduction to Engineering & Science (MITES) Program is a rigorous six-and-a-half week residential summer program that gives 70 to 80 rising high school seniors from across the country the opportunity to experience a demanding academic atmosphere and begin building the self-confidence necessary for success in college and beyond. Funding to the scholarship fund supports students in the MITES Program.

The MIT Science of Baseball Program (MSBP) is a four-week summer program aimed at improving the mathematics and science skills of entering 8th and 9th grade middle school boys from Boston and Cambridge by building their interest in baseball. Each summer, MSBP provides opportunities for 30-40 boys, who demonstrate a passion for baseball and an interest in academic improvement.
