Gifts to support the Deshpande Center Innovation program. The Center provides grants and assistance to MIT researchers to move their technologies from the labs to the commercial world, where they will have an impact. It also educates them on the process of commercializing technology.
This fund supports the School of Engineering dean’s strategic School education initiative with a vital source of unrestricted funding that the Dean can use to advance engineering education.
Gifts of alumni/ae and friends to support the Office of Engineering Outreach Programs (OEOP). OEOP's mission is to diversify the science and engineering community by serving students from underrepresented and underserved backgrounds and empowering these students to develop the skills and confidence needed to pursue careers in technical fields.
Gifts to support the Sandbox Innovation Fund Program. This educational program includes grants to assist MIT students in pursuit of their innovative and entrepreneurial ideas. The program provides opportunities for hands-on learning experience, customized for each team of entrepreneurs, in a way that is mindful of the academic cycle.
