The Institute’s rise to world leadership in education and research
has been due, in large part, to generations of steadfast support from
our alumni, our friends, and our supporters. MIT is extremely grateful
for the generosity of those who have helped the Institute—through
financial support, and with gifts of time and attention—to achieve
our goals of imparting a transformative education, nurturing ground-breaking
research, and sustaining a strong and vibrant MIT community. Our support comes from a variety of sources:
MIT is a work in progress. And it’s a work that is being created by
many thousands of people and institutions. We extend our sincere thanks
