A few of us can make huge gifts to MIT, but most of us cannot. I remind myself, a workaday engineer, that my annual contribution is not small when viewed through the eyes of its beneficiary. We have over 100,000 alumni — and the sum of our ‘small’ gifts makes a big difference.

Alumni Fund

The annual gifts of MIT’s alumni, alumnae, and friends have an enormous impact on the Institute.

MIT’s rise to world leadership in education and research has been due, in part, to generations of generosity. Annual giving, including unrestricted gifts, will help sustain that position of leadership in the years to come.

Every gift has an impact on MIT, regardless of its size or designation. Gifts that support faculty and students help sustain the intellectual vitality of the Institute. Gifts in support of research and teaching programs help MIT act on its commitment to education, and to the advancement of society as a whole. Gifts of unrestricted funds provide the flexibility to pursue new ideas and meet new challenges.

The Alumni Fund is an ongoing resource for MIT. Please continue your support of the Alumni Fund—this year and every year. MIT counts on the regular, annual giving of alumni like you. Gifts of all sizes are crucial to the success of our mission.
