The William Barton Rogers Society is a community of alumni, students, parents, faculty and friends who support the empowering legacy of the Institute’s first president. Rogers’ belief in “mind and hand”, and in the power of combining fundamental knowledge with practical application, is as current today as it was when he first voiced it over 150 years ago.
Annual gifts help to further MIT’s mission and support the Institute’s promise: an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of a diverse campus community.
Your gift of $1,000 or more, whether unrestricted or committed to a particular department, project or fund qualifies you for membership in the WBRS. Inclusion in this giving society is our way of honoring your philanthropy.
Please join us, year after year, as we continue to build this society in support of MIT.
