Thank you to all of the volunteers and donors who made the Lobby 10 portion of the Underclassmen Giving Campaign a huge success. With just two weeks of fundraising, 1,309 students, or 40% of the underclassmen student body, donated to help fund Public Service Center’s Expedition Grants!

The money raised in the fall funded five MIT students performing public service work abroad over IAP and the money raised this spring will immediately fund Expedition Grants this summer. Read about the amazing efforts made possible by the UGC funded expedition grants on our Impact page.

All funds raised through the UGC are matched by our challenger, Greg Turner ’74, President of the Alumni Association. Your gift is instantly doubled to support the public service work of student Expedition Grant recipients. Greg is willing to match all gifts up to $10,000, but so far we’ve only raised about $7,000. Don’t leave the remaining $3,000 on the table, help us out by making a gift online today!

To find out more about Expedition Grants and what your gift will fund, by visiting the Public Service Center's website.
