MIT10’s Participation Factor

Undergraduate alumni of the last decade.

Today’s students are more positive and proud of MIT than ever before and it shows. One of President Hockfield’s favorite examples of this is the dramatic increase in Senior Class Gift participation which leapt from 27% in 2005 to 51% in 2006, and climbed to 64% in 2008.

These enthusiastic young people are now part of the alumni community—and with equal gusto, they are volunteering and giving back annually to MIT.

Purpose

To reflect MIT’s standard of excellence through enthusiastic annual alumni participation.

Goal

As part of this year’s effort to raise alumni participation overall, MIT10 alumni aim to do their part by achieving:

  • 30% MIT10 undergraduate alumni participation (approximately 3,000 donors)

Deadline

June 30, 2009
