Schools, labs and centers
Each of MIT’s five Schools makes unique contributions—both to MIT, and to the larger society. All have distinctive needs and funding priorities. Many alumni choose to designate their gift to the School or department that had the greatest impact on them during their time at MIT.
Gifts to the Institute can be designated to support a specific School or department, or a particular initiative within a School. You can learn more about School funding priorities by visiting the links below.
