Due to a most impressive push at the happy hour at the Red Hat in Boston, we crossed the half way marker in the Power of Participation Challenge! It was really exciting and the race is now on to reach the next milestone in this campaign.

On January 22, 2008, MIT10 alumni around the world celebrated Independent Activities Period (IAP) at local watering holes where they mingled, reminisced about Mystery Hunt puzzles and Charm School lessons, and played IAP-inspired games.

The NYC event was another success, with a good turnout, great conversations, and support from 92% of MIT10 attendees towards the challenge.
October 24, 2007
The first MIT10 event of FY2008 turned to be a huge success, and a lot of fun! By the end of the night, 87% of alumni in attendance had made a gift in support of the challenge.

Class representatives officially begin the challenge with an email to classmates introducing themselves, laying out the ground rules, and asking for their support.
