Labs, programs, and centers
Link to a comprehensive—though by no means complete—list of MIT’s labs, programs, and centers ....
Much of the groundbreaking work that takes place at MIT can’t be contained within one discipline, or even one School.
Integral to the MIT community are certain labs, programs, and centers that tap the collaborative expertise of scholars across the Institute. Some, in fact, are cooperative programs involving one or more institutions completely outside MIT. Like the Schools, these programs have unique and important funding needs. And, also like the Schools, each of these programs makes exceptional contributions—to the Institute, and to the world.
One example is the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST), one of the largest biomedical and physician-scientist training programs in the United States.
Gifts in support of HST and other labs, programs, and centers help the Institute advance its mission of serving the nation and the world by furthering research and education in key areas.
Be sure to also investigate the Schools and departments area for information on selected labs, programs, and centers that are associated more closely with individual Schools.
