Designating your gift

Designated gifts may be directed either to MIT’s top priorities—such as the Campaign for Students, the MIT Energy Initiative, cancer research, or unrestricted giving—or to other worthy causes.

It’s your call. What’s close to your heart? Did you have a formative experience at MIT that you want to make available to future generations? Is there a School or department in which you want to make a public vote of confidence? Are you driven to ensure that worthy students receive the financial aid they need to attend the Institute? If so, you can show your support by directing your gift to a cause that matters to you.

The possibilities are almost endless—and all are critical to MIT’s success. By designating your gift, you are stating your priorities for—and your commitment to—the Institute.
